Advent Calendar

Hi there!!!  It has come to my attention that I really need to share my Advent Calendar before the year gets away from me!!  This is my very first Advent Calendar I have made and I must say the boys are absolutely loving it!  From lollipops to chocolate coins to books to a treasure hunt, they are loving all the fun stuff happening in these little boxes!  And its only day 8....lol!!! 

 

 

I picked up a heap of little boxes and paper bags from Spotlight.  I decorated them all using the Merry and Bright collection from Pretty Little Studio.  I made some envelopes from the 8x8 paper in the collection.  I shabbied up the look by adding lots of Gesso, Shimmerz and other bits and pieces.

 

 

I finished it off by tying all boxes, bags and envelopes to a piece of driftwood I found at our beach house.  I then topped it off with all the boys initials.
