Pineapple Inspiration

Hi there!!
I have another Pretty Little Studio Project to share today.
I started out with plain white cardstock and I painted a watercolour Pineapple and continued on the mixed media throughout the page.  I used a mixture of collections and patterned paper for the layers in this creation.   I used a journaling card from the older collection Sandcastle.  I just added a little colour to the sketch of the kids and the kites.   I love using the stickers and phrase strips, they tell a story all by themselves.

I have another new Pretty Little Studio creation to share today.
Over here in Australia we are in the midst of our Winter and I would give anything to take me back to Summer!!  So I thought I would create something full of sunshine and happiness!  I have created with the Treasure Island once again but this time opting for the rainbows, yellow and red papers.  I love how this collection has so many colours in it to create any combination you want.
PLS Products Used:
  • Treasure Island Paper: Jewel Archipelago, Magic Island, Ship Deck, Clear castaway Black
  • Treasure Island Embellishments: Cutouts Mini Words Pirates Life, Cutouts Wild Ride Phrase Strips, Die Cuts Arrow Adventure, Die Cuts Out to Sea Clouds, Flair Happy Journey, Garland Overboard Paper Ribbons, Journaling Explorer Stencil 3 x 4 Cards, Journaling Set Sail 3 x 4, Vintage Die-cut Hugo
Stickers Gold Treasure Flags, Stickers Treasure words, Tab Treasure Map

I still love those stencil journaling cards, you can add anything to them as I have here with some water colour and doodling.   I even used the anchor piece that was cut out from another card.

The Mini Words an Phrase Strips are awesome to add to a skewer stick to make little flags as I have done here.

Plus the too cute little boy in the boat die cut (Hugo)……ahhh, so adorable!!!

Thanks for visiting today.

Crafty spaces.....

Up on the Pretty Little Studio BLOG last week.......
Hi there!  Stacey here with you today to share a little more of craft space and how I store all of those gorgeous Pretty Little Studio bits and pieces.

Because the Treasure Island collection is such a large one (and I had to have nearly everything) I have a cute little basket for all of the flags, tabs, die cuts, journaling cards, mini words, feathers and the list goes on.

I have little bowls for all of my flair buttons.  I absolutely love Pretty Little Studio flair, I almost think I need a bigger bowl, it’s nearly overflowing.

I have all of the die cuts in another bigger bowl.  I just pick little bowls up here there around town.

My last picture today is a share of my wall of pretties!!  My Pretty Little Studio goodies have a home on the other side of the room to this shot (as I use more often) but this is my occasional go to spot.  As I use a lot of different products on my pages, here, I have buttons, straws, twine, chipboard, resins, frames etc etc.  Then I have a whole other spot for all of my flowers………

Have a great day xo

Shimmerz creation - "Always"

After a little time off from my blogging duties over at Shimmerz, I am back to share a project each month :)  I still love the Shimmerz product and still use it on everything!!!  I have a brand new creation to share today.  And it includes Purple.....a colour I don't use very often at all!!!  But with these few products it was easy to add a splash of purple in.
Shimmerz products used:
Dazzlerz in Grapetastic
Vibez in Razzeldazzelberry and Grape Escape
Coloringz in Well Blue Me Down and Pink Stiletto
Inklingz in Pugnacious Purple

Some Pink Stiletto Coloringz splatters to the page.  I even snuck in a few 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces to this one :)

I scraped some Dazzlerz in Grapetastic down the page with a bit of cardboard.   Then added the Inklingz under my embellishments for added shadows.

I added a little Inklingz to the Resin pieces.

Thanks for stopping in again today!
Have a great one xx

Hello Adventure - PLS

I have a new Pretty Little Studio creation to share with you today.
Today I am featuring the Garland flags amongst my layout.  I chose to work with the Treasure Island Collection again (I can’t get enough of this collection).  My boys just love our time at the beach so I created something beachy once again.  I chose all of the mint/turquoise and navy blue colours out of the collection.  I layered up my photo on a stack of distressed papers and then layered my bunting below my photo.  With each piece I added foam tape to give the bunting extra dimension.  I then lined the top of it with jute twine and rope.
"Hello Adventure"

I also added the cute Octopus Paper Ribbons on both the left and right hand sides of my page.  Instead of journaling on my page I added a few stickers for the Treasure Words sheet, I love these, they tell a story all on their own.

Pretty Little Studio Product List:
Treasure Island Paper: Buccaneer, Castaway Sea, Ship Deck
Treasure Island Embellishments: Cutouts  Let’s Go Phrase Strips, Cutouts Mini Word Pirate Anchor, Cutouts Mini Word Pirate’s Life, Garland Beach house Bunting, Garland Lighthouse Bunting, Garland Under The Sea Paper Ribbons, Journaling Explorer Stencil, Tabs Treasure Map, Stickers Treasure Words
Thanks so much for stopping by :)
Have a great day xo
