Our afternoon and some layouts:)

The boys played out the back this afternoon and I decided to grab the camera, it has been a little while since I have taken pics of them out in the yard, they just don't stay still long enough for me to get any decent photos. They have been driving me up the wall lately and I have been getting a little cranky....... They are fighting alot more lately and I am constantly at Cooper to not take things off his brother or to stop pushing him over....but it is like speaking to a brick wall sometimes...aarrrghh!!!! I think Kobi's whinging and tantrums have been turned up a notch too....anyways, it's just so darn lucky that they are so cute....lol......and I love them to bits:):)

Yes, butter really wouldn't melt in his mouth..lol!!!

This little guy is just so cheeky, he is now over 17 months and is picking up more and more words each day....he is still a tiny little guy but he certainly lets you know what he wants:)

Cooper said to me this afternoon, "Mummy, I'm digging for treasure".....it was so cute!

So they dug around for a bit, flipping sand everywhere, it even ended up down my top....

and then the next minute he says "Mummy, look, I've found gold"......just gotta love their little imaginations!

Now onto some creations. Mum and Dad just got back from Fiji in which they went to my cousins wedding over there, I made this card for Mum to give to them from us....it is a little non-traditional in the way of a wedding card but I thought it fitted perfectly as they were getting married on the beach in Fiji!!! I have used Webster's, Leeann's Chippie Beach Hut and of course Prima:)

Next one is a layout using the new Prima Umbrella collection with a touch of Sass...the boys had such fun in all the rain we had back in February and this paper was just the cutest for it:)

And lastly my latest layout for The Color Room Palette #4......I thought I might of struggled with this one, the colours not quite me but once I brightened them up a bit all was good. I really enjoyed doing a real "BOY"page for a change....it has been a while since I have done one and not used a single flower on a layout!! I am so loving dots on everything atm, if you couldn't tell:):)

Pencillines GD......Yay!!!

Layouts, cards and piccies....you might need a coffee:)

I rarely ever use purple on my layouts and lookie here I have 2 with purple in them:) My obsession with Prima flowers is still going strong....lol!!! I am also getting over my phobia of boys layouts and lots of flowers! I took these pics of this little guy the other day, he had a water pistol trying to wet me and thought it was the funniest thing ever:)

This one is for the Color Room (palette #3)..... Easter Egg Hunting and he had to sit down and count all his eggs and eat some along the way:) See my cute little basket I made and the MLBOW egg pins fitted perfectly!
A couple of cards now, the first was for an engagement and the second was for the wedding we went to yesterday......I had to squish it in the wishing well, so I hope it survived!!

Lastly a layout of both my boys enjoying an iceblock each.....one of their favourite things (just a homebrand water iceblock..lol!!!!) So much going on in this one, see if you can spot all the Such Sweet Tierney buttons, also Leeann's cloud button, some Sass and a whimsy icecream tucked in there too:):) It all makes me happy:)

Okay, now onto some pics...we had this beautiful, beautiful wedding on Saturday. Had loads of fun and have taken loads of pics to sort through.
Is this not the most stunning bride you have ever seen? Me and my gorgeous hubs, he is so reluctant to have his pic taken but after I made him have a gazillion with me we got a good one:):) Does anyone out there actually have a husband/boyfriend who likes having his picture taken?? I think it may be rare...lol!!!

My beautiful boys and me, not the greatest pic but still us.....I am trying to train the little ones early to enjoy having photos taken:):) By the look on Kobi's face I think he may be just like Dad...doh!!!

LAstly, bribery gets you a long way....isn't he beautiful, he still kinda looks like "Mum, are you for real", I guess when you are a scrapbooking mum you will do all kinds of bribery to get a good shot...loL!!!!

The Colour Room #2

I wasn't actually going to have a go at this but so glad I did.....I love the end result! Brown is so not on my list of colours I use but I thought I would challenge myself.

I'll leave you with a pic that Mum took of me and the boys the other day at the park. My gosh they are growing so fast....I just adore them:)

Okay, Cooper is asking me to take him for a swim so better go, way to cold for me to get in but at least he can swim now and I can just put my feet in!

The Color Room and Sweet Tierney buttons:)

Alot of you have probably heard of this new site, TheColorRoom..........I have never seen so many talented scrappers in the one design team, so I had to join:)

Here is my take on the first colour palette, being (her room) I created another layout for Gracie plus I got to use more gorgeous new Prima:):) And she is just lovely, that little niece of mine!

Here is another layout I created with London's buttons. When I received this lot I had the perfect photo in mind of Cooper in his little elf costume from Christmas last year. I also used some Little Red Rocket yummies, Kittyrobot and My Little Bit Of Whimsy mushrooms and doodled myself some more of Leeann's baubles:)

Okies, boys are asleep so should go get something done in what little quiet time I get:):)

Feeling hot hot HOT!!!!

What has happened to the weather in the past few days, it feels hotter now than what it did back in January! Our pool has been getting a major workout again and the water is just beautiful and cold:) We have also been getting some great rain and storms at night!
We had a busy weekend with a Hens night on Friday night, I got home just on 2am................omg, I can not remember the last time that happened...........and I got a little tipsy, I don't remember the last time that happened either:):) Saturday night we went to a lovely wedding (Tim's cousin) and Sunday I took some family photos for some friends out at the gardens:) So busy, busy!

I made these 2 last week or so...........
"Froggy"- These pics of Coop are from last year and "Little Beach Bum" - I used lots of Leeann's yummies in both layouts and more Prima and some My Little Shoebox. More My Little Bit of Whimsy in both aswell......I am not quite sure when I am going to get over that obsession.....I am waiting on another order to come:)
.....Sorry, just got picked up for publication.......

I think I might go and start another page now......how long does it take you to do a layout?? It takes me about 3 hours.....2 and a bit hours if I am well planned..lol!!! I find if I start it in the afternoon when the boys are having their rest then when I put them back to bed at night I try to get it finished!

What do you think?

I often think to myself that when creating layouts for my boys I think they sometimes turn out a little girly.....as you all know I love using Prima flowers. I often ask DH does this look to girly for the boys layouts and he always reassures me "no, they look great". After creating this layout of Gracie I am now a little more convinced that my boy layouts aren't too girly but infact just cute and colourful:):) I love this page I made of Gracie, it is sooo pretty and girly and sweet and PINK!!!! I have used SuchSweetTierney buttons, lots of new Prima, MLBOW cupcake pin and the cute little chipboards from Crate Paper "Paper Doll" collection:)
