Sunsets Over The Beach

Hi, hope you are all having a lovely week.  A wee bit of sickness has hit this household but we are getting there!  I hope it is all gone before a certain little person's 1st birthday!!!  I wanted to share with you today a canvas piece I made using Shimmerz.  Here are the Shimmerz products I used:

Vibez - Egg Noggin and Jeni B Bleu
Spritz - Treasured Hymn
Shimmeringz - Heavy Metal
Enamelz - Sparklicious (lots of this on there that my pictures just don't give it justice)
Shimmerz - Antique Lace and Butter Cream
Pearlz - Mint Julip

"Sunsets Over the Beach"

Some closeups.  I placed my embellishments in place and then I proceed to alter everything using Gesso and then a coating of  Shimmerz Vibez and Spritz.  I just love these colours mixed together, very antique, shabby looking!

I have used some Melissa Frances on here as well as some Pink Paislee Parisian Anthology:)
Also adding Shimmerz to the elements.

Oh, I love my title on this.......I scraped a thick coating of Gesso to the section where I wanted my title to sit, I then used the end of my paintbrush to etch out the words.....I really love how this turned out:)

I used lots of Sinamay and string and some Prima pretties.

Lots of tiny little shells and more misting!!!  Lastly I sprinkled Shimmerz Enamelz in Sparklicious over everything.  I just couldn't get the photos right but this is so much prettier irl and so shiny:)

Thanks for popping by today, I hope you like my canvas as much as I do!!  Much more to share but will be back another time....little people need some snuggles:):)

Hugs xo

Welcome to the Prima/Faber-Castell Blog Hop!!

Is there anything better than two companies combining their amazing products? Today we have a joint venture by Prima Marketing and Faber-Castell! Not only do our products work perfectly together, but they provide wonderful platforms for inspiration and creativity!
We challenged our talented design teams to create projects combining products just for YOU! Hopefully they will get your creativity going too.

Here is my layout using Prima and Faber-Castell Watercolour Pencils and Wax Crayons.   The Faber-Castell Watercolour Pencils and Prima's Paintable papers were made for each other.  I wanted my layout to be very soft and neautral of my sweet bub:)  The watercolours were great for this as I could really tone down the colour by applying more water.

"Pure"

I scrapped the brick mask with some gesso, I then applied modelling paste to give it extra texture.  I then used a black watercolour pencil and added colour to the bricks.   I love how the black turned into a grey and how the colour run into the texture paste.

I added touches of blues, apricot and green onto the Paintable paper. I popped some Prima blooms in there too and used a blue wax crayon to give the centre of the flowers some colour.

Prima Product list:

#950149 "Aquarelle" Fairybelle
#602284 Paintables
#811358 Paintables

Hope you are all having a lovely week, it's beautiful here atm, a little chilly in the morning but I have lots of little snuggle bunnies that like early morning cuddles so it's okay:)  I've got lots to share with you today!  First up is my first assignment for the Heidi Swapp blog.  I had to create a Mother's day card using the Color Magic range.  I also choose to incorporate the Sugar Chic range.  My first card all pink and girly....thinking of my sweet Mum when I made this, she loves pink:)

"Adore U Mum"

I had so much fun making this I created another using the blue tones.  Banners everywhere:):) How cute is the bow tie paper clip?

"Mum"

Now onto my Prima projects I haven't shared here yet.  The first one was for a feature back in April focusing on flowers!  I used the Pixie Glen range and used lots of new flowers and Shabby Chic resin and metals.

"My Favourite Little People"

Some closeups.  I wanted to create a scene with the open fence, walking into my garden:)

More details, misting and modelling paste.

Here is a tag I created for Prima tag day:)  It's very shabby!  I'm not convinced I am a tag maker yet!  Might have to practice some more.

Prima's product pick for May.  Lot's of gorgeous deep colours in this one.  A photo of Mason I haven't scrapped yet, his first smile at 5 weeks old.......how precious.....now he is 11 months old!

Shimmerz Canvas Tags

Hi!  Just popping by with my new Shimmerz project.  I created these 2 little tags using the following Shimmerz products:

Coloringz in Mandarin Mai Tai, Pink Stiletto, Lime In Da Coconut and Mon Shari
Vibez in Grape Escape
Blingz in Hottie Pink

I sprayed Mon Shari and blended Lime In Da Coconut together for this tag.  I stamped a little and applied the flowers adding the Vibez in Grape Escape to the petals.

This time I blended Coloringz in Pink Stiletto and Mandarin Mai Tai. I love the rich, bright colour that the Coloringz bring to any layout or project. Lots of Modelling paste and sinamay were also added for Texture:)

I hope you like my little tags.........you can find all of these and more here at the Shimmerz Paint store:)

Thankyou so much for all of your lovely comments about my new DT role.  I truly appreciate all of your support.

A New Design Team

Happy Monday everyone!!!  You may not have heard yet, but I made my debut on the Pink Paislee blog last Friday!!!!!  I am the newest addition to the team and that is so exciting for me:)  I am a big fan of PP and was totally shocked to see an email from them to join the team!  With an extra bonus I also get to work with the gorgeous Heidi Swapp products aswell.....how lucky am I???  So happy to be on this team!

Here is my first project for Pink Paislee.  They have been having a blog hop all week with Basically Bare.  Head over to the blog and leave a comment for your chance to win some Pink Paislee and Basically Bare products + check out all the great ideas from the rest of the week.

"Soar"

I created a picket fence out of the chipboard I received to match the fence in the picture.

The felt clouds were perfect with this range, Prairie Hill, and I knew I wanted my kites to be flying above with them:)  Made my own aswell out of the papers and used the chipboard pops too.  Loved these!

Here is another project I created using Pink Paislee.  It's a mixture of Soiree and my faves, Spring Jubilee and the Mistables.

"Loving the Bubba Chub"

Some details:

Oh look, another banner....surprise!!!

Okay, lots to do, will be back soon with more to share........it's also getting closer to another announcement from me:):)
Hugs to you all,
Stace x
