2 Crafty shares

Hi, I'm back again with my last 2 creations for 2 Crafty Chipboard for the month of May. Firstly I want to say that I have been asked to stay on at 2 Crafty for a wee bit longer yet, so I am super excited to get to play with these gorgeous chippies again for the next 6 months.  I can't wait to see all of the inspiration from the new team!

My first creation today being super girly and pretty, but has a beachy feel to it.

"Pretty Little Mermaid"

2 Crafty Chipboard used:
Leafy Twig Branches
2014's
Delicate Butterflies
Corner Rachel's
Pirate Treasure

I covered the Delicate Butterflies with Gesso and then added Shimmerz to them.   I used
some sprays along with the Dazzlerz products.  I layered them with foam tape and pulled
up the wings so they were 3 dimensional and popping off the page.

I have covered the Ship's Wheel from the Pirate Treasure set with Gesso and then
applied Modelling paste to it to give some texture.

I layered the Corner Rachel's piece into my floral and shell embellishments.  Once it
was in place, I applied Gesso to it.  I tried not to get any other mist on it as I wanted
it to stand out from the background.

I applied Gesso once again to the Leafy Twig Branches, added them to my layout and
then blended them into the background with my Shimmerz products.

My second layout today is something fun of my big boy and me!
I love the story behind this photo and the pastel colours here.

"Sweet Time"

2 Crafty Chipboard used:
Word Circles set 1
Arrow Funky
Tiny Feather Set
Frame Scallop Circle Boarders

I have used another arrow here from the Arrow Funky Set and covered it in mint paint.
I used the title Sweet from the Word Circles set # 1 , covered in Gesso and
applied mist to it once again.

I loved this heart arrow from the Arrow Funky set.  I thought it would be perfect to add
to the end of my handmade arrow.  I propped it up on a straw and gave it a coat of Gesso
and a light misting of Shimmerz.

I have layered in some frames from the Frame Scallop Circle Boarders .  I placed them
in between my paper layers and under my photo as a photo mat.  I applied Gesso and
gave it some random sprays of mist in gold and peachy tones.

Lastly I layered a feather from the Tiny Feather Set at the top end of my arrow.  I applied
some mint paint and dipped the end in some gold glitter.  I wrapped gold thread around
it to keep it in place with the other feather and straw.

Just a couple more detailed shots of the layers!

Before I go, here is another card I have made recently!  So many birthdays to get through :)  Speaking of which, it's our Masey's 3rd birthday tomorrow!!!  Would you believe it.........geez 3, such a gorgeous, cheeky little fella :)

Have a wonderful evening, I'm off to cook dinner :)

Thanks for your sweet comments,
Hugs xoxo

Hi Stacey, I have admired your work for quite awhile, but have never attempted this level of scrapbooking. Do you have any tutorials or how tos or videos on how you do your layouts? I live in Victoria, Australia and can't afford the postage for your kits from Scrapbook diaries, so was just wondering if you did anything closer to home.

Thanks
Fern
