Layouts, cards and pics:)

My first layout here is for The Color Room this week, Palette #42.  It was such a fun week to create for because we did a Style swap.  Lydell picked all of our names out of a hat and I got to replicate the beautiful style of Karola. I had so much fun making this.......I own 1 punch and can't sew to save myself but those of you who know me know how out of control my Prima stash is so that made it a little easier for me to create her gorgeous style:)  So if you haven't ever played before in The Color Room this would be the week to have go and you can do the same, replicate someones style, whether they are on the design team or not!!!  I would love to see you do my style!!!!!! Plus the colours are awesome this week and everyone has done such an amazing job in the DT!

My little Kobi at about 7 months old:)

"Adorable You"

Not a paper tear in sight!!  Look at my punch, pretty basic hey....lol!!!  Now I would like to get some more...yeah, I am a bit behind the times!

Next up is a layout I created with Such Sweet Tierney Buttons cuteness!!  You wouldn't believe that this layout was almost ruined as water spilled over the whole page (my blind must have blew over my little water cup with my paintbrushes in it and I didn't realise....aaargghh!!) but it seeped in through the back so my photo and embellies didn't get ruined.  Anyway after drying it out overnight, I think I saved it!

"Explore"

A bit of everything in this one.....Pink Paislee, Sass, Chip Chop Shop,  Lil Red Rocket, Prima and shells.

Such Sweet Tierney Buttons....yummo!!

I never thought I would use this Sass feltie jar but it fitted perfect with all the little treasures on here:)

Hubby's grandma turned 80 last week and I made this card for her using Webster's.

Hubby's cousin also had a little boy through the week and I made this for her using Websters again and a Such Sweet Tierney Button:)

I made this one a month ago for our friends new born bubba girl:)

So that it is for now with the creations.....today we went to the beach and we all had so much fun.  Just a couple of pics.  Don't you just love photo editing, I am not the greatest photographer so editing them just gives them that lift!  So just a couple of my faves of the boys:)

So update on the baby bump......we had our scan on Friday and everything seems perfect....yay!  I think my mind might finally start to ease now, I have been so stressed for some reason.  We did find out the sex but for now I am going to keep it secret, I even think I have a name (I woke up the other night and couldn't go to sleep and it just came to me), just got to convince hubby!! But for now it is still "baby Goona" as Cooper has always called it....lol!!!  Very excited and can't wait to meet #3....hopefully this next 20 weeks goes just as quick as the first!

Coop's first day of Kindy on Tuesday....super excited for him and fingers crossed it all goes well:)

Thanks for popping by:)

Colour, Colour, Colour...........

Just a reminder on how much I love colour.....I created this one a little while ago (so last year...lol) but missed sharing it here for some reason - blame the crazy hormones, I'll forget my head if it isn't screwed on lately, I am a shocker!!  Anyways, this is full of The Chip Chop Shop goodies...please, please Leeann open your shop back up soon, I am having withdrawels..lol!!  Lots of gorgeous brights with Crate Paper, My Minds Eye and I think the background paper was Echo Park.

"Sweet Summer Time"

I used the negatives of the beach huts and misted inside them and added white gel pen to make them look real:)  A little Sass starfish feltie and lovely Prima....

The Chip Chop Shop........

More details.....

The Color Room palette #41.  My mum and my boy....I just love the last photo of Mum laughing at Kobi trying to blow bubbles, how sweet:)

"He Lights Up Her Life"

Lots of paint and mist and gesso on this one and a little handmade kite.....

Here is the pretty palette, come on over and play:)

Just a few piccies to share, I have been really slack lately with my pictures let alone editing them.  The boys were having hijinks the other day with some friends under the sprinkler.  Kobi started up his swimming lessons again and he did alot better than I thought he would and today he didn't want to get out of our pool.....he even swam halfway across the pool to me, so very proud of him atm, thought he really hated the water but he's difinately coming around!!

Hey cutie.......

Cooper and his fishing rod that Santa left him..... first time fishing and they caught a big flathead:)

I'll leave you with that tonight......I am heading to bed now:)
Have a wonderful weekend xo

I have scrapped!!!!

It's been sooo long since I scrapped...over 2 weeks which is such a long time for me!!!  But it feels great to  have done some.  Only one that I can share now though.  I have had this Websters paper for ages and had the idea in my head just didn't have the time and motivation to get it done.....now I have and love it!!

Perfect pic of my boy and me to use with this Wonderfall range:)

"Kiss"

Prima daisies and vines and I also used a few Clear Cut Crafts Butterflies.....

A MLBOW bee embellishment...one of my faves:) + more daisies and butterflies...

And some ribbon from Fancy Pants....

I hope you like!

We have been away on holidays down to the Sunshine Coast....it wasn't very sunshiny...lol!!!  We still managed to get in a great day at Australia zoo, the kids loved it.  I will share some photos when I sort through them all (I haven't got a chance to look at any even from Christmas).
Cooper is starting Kindy in 2 weeks time so we are off to buy a few things for him this week:)  Fun and scary at the same time!!

Oh yeah, I just remembered a few of you have asked how long it takes to create a layout.  I would have to say an average of 3 hrs (I am bad and don't wait for my paint to dry) but I can get something done in 2 or so if I am really organised with all my supplies...this one above was a quick one for me:):)

Thanks so much for the love from my last post, I love reading those beautiful comments:)

A Very HAPPY New Year....

So this is the last day for 2010....wow did this year go quick or what!!!  In the past 3 months I haven't been around here as much as I would of liked and definately haven't scrapped as much as I would of liked either....I have all these gorgeous new products but haven't had the motivation or time to create for myself.  Anyway I have a good reason for this and here it is......................................

Bump #3
We will be expecting our 3rd little precious in June 2011!!!  I am coming up 17 weeks this weekend and yes, I really am this big already.......lol......bear in mind I am onto #3 and I am only 156cm tall so it really doesn't have anywhere to go but out!!  I have been extremely tired, weak and sicker this time round and even now I still feel "off" every now and then.  Most mornings I feel faint and can't do too much for the first few hours.....making the boys breakky is a struggle without having to sit down.  So, in 3 weeks time we get to find out babies sex....I am convinced it is another boy, I just can't imagine them saying anything different.....I already have 2 perfect boys so why not another!!  I am sure this will be our last baby, I have been so stressed this time round and we also had a scare at the start...but all seems well and we are all so excited:)

I just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful, happy and safe 2011.  My heart is going out to all those families in the region who are effected by all the flooding.  It is so devastating watching the news and seeing all this footage and seeing towns isolated and being evacuated.  Mother Nature can be cruel sometimes......

Thank you so much to all of you who have left me special comments throughout the year, every single one of them mean the world to me and they make me want to come back and share more with you:)  Thank you also to those of you who just come for a visit, I hope I do inspire you in one way or another.  So here's to 2011......it's going to be fun creating for a new little subject.
Love to you all and enjoy your celebrations tonight.....I dare say I will be asleep well before midnight...lol!!!

ps - I will be back soon with a post of my fave layouts for 2010

Merry Christmas xo

Just wanted to a quick post before Santa arrives tonight!!!  I made this mini album for mum of some of the Christmas photos I took of the family.  I also had to create a project using Such Sweet Tierney Buttons....so they are scattered through out the album:)  I have also come to the conclusion that I am NOT and off the page type of girl....lol!!!  If you get lost in this album don't stress, so do I.....I think my style is not made for making such mini things!!!  Anyway, I got it done and Mum loves it all the same.

Palette #38 at the Color Room.  I almost didn't do this one but then thought I may not be able to get the next 2 done with being so busy.  I love the way this turned out and I would never in a million years have used these colours:):)

I have also used Purple Onion Design stamps again....the numbers (up to 8 as we have been married 8 years this February) and the mask.

I will leave you with another pic of my Cooper.  We are all so excited for tomorrow, hopefully the rain might steer clear and we can have a fun day hanging by the pool:)

I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope that Santa finds you tonight xo
