Pretty Little Studio Pastels

Happy Sunday :)

I have a new Pretty Little Studio creation to share with you today.

I have used bits and pieces from 6 whole collections here!   It’s awesome how you can do that with Pretty Little Studio products.  It’s fantastic that somehow all of the colours out of these collections worked with this one layout.  I started with the Wonderland Collection but as I went on I wanted to add some of the Baby Jack collection to tie in with my adorable photo of my baby.   The feather Die Cuts from the Wonderland Collection are just stunning and I couldn’t help but layer both in together here as a feather arrow.  So there you go, mixing and matching is super duper fun!

My baby boy is having his half birthday this week.........say what??!!!  The last six months has flown by, even faster than my pregnancy did (and that went quick)!!  I just want him to stay a baby for longer,  he is almost sitting up and I don't think it will be too long before he is crawling.

I bought a heap of plastic eggs for the boys to help me decorate and put on our egg tree.  I had a couple left over and decided to add a little Prima foil and paint to them.

Pretty Little Studio - Wonderland

Hello!  Thankyou for your lovely comments on my last post of my babe and my canvas.  Your comments always make my day :)

Today, I would love to share with you, my very first creation using the Wonderland collection by Pretty Little Studio

We don’t get a lot of cold weather here in Australia where I live and I have never seen snow but my boys went to a manmade Indoor Ice Skating rink in the middle of summer!!  I snapped a few photos of them and thought this collection was just perfect.
I just love the sweet pastel colours in this collection.  The mints, greys and soft pinks are just gorgeous.

Pretty Little Studio Feathers

Happy Friday!   Yay, weekend is nearly here!!!

I have a new Pretty Little Studio creation to share today -

I absolutely love the feather die-cuts Pretty Little Studio produces.   I tend to use a lot on the one page which I have done here by layering them on top of each other.
I even painted some feathers of my own in the background.

"I Heart You"

Pretty Little Studio Products Used:

  • You and Me collection: Cut Out paper Favourite, Our Song, Sweet Ocean Mint, Feather Tickle Me, Cut Outs Adore You Phrase Strips, Garland – Like You Paper Ribbons, Journaling – Best Friends 3 x 4, Journaling – Sweet Heart 3 x 4
  • Lets Go Travel Collection: New Mexico PP
  • Marigold Collection: Feather Die cuts

I layered up all of my papers as I do for my photo mat.   I cut the little birdie with the ‘Hi’ sign from the journaling set, Best Friends, and placed it to the top of my photo.

That little bit of pink on the card was my inspiration for adding a touch more pink.  I added the title in pink and painted the little pink heart on the journaling card to the right of my page.

Lots of mixed media work also with some Shimmerz and Prima flowers :)

I Love You

Hi all :)

Just sharing a cute layout I created last week.....just because, I had a spare hour or so......I am scrapping super quick these days!!!  The painted heart totally didn't work out how I wanted it too, but I just didn't have time to fiddle around with it....you get that sometimes ;)

I used lots of gorgeous Prima flowers and some Crate Paper.
