Fancy some Pink today?

Hello!  Happy Thursday....weekend is in sight :)  Thought I would drop by to share a pretty pink creation today!!!  Also featuring gorgeous Prima.....oh how I miss Prima!!  I also used loads of pink Shimmerz.  The background paper is from the 12 x 12 Prima Art Journal Pad by Jodie Lee Designs.  My favourite paper pad ever!

Lots to share today

Hi all, hope you are having a lovely evening, morning, day or sleep wherever you are in the world :)  Thought I would pop by with a few things, or make that a fair few things. 

 

First up is my most recent Shimmerz creation. 

 

Here is the gorgeous combo I used:  Plus a smidgen of mint papers!

We seem to be in party mode at the moment, I think the past 5 weeks, plus more to go, we have had a party of some kind.  I made these 2 cute Dreamcatchers  for some our friends little girls.  I went to Lincraft and picked up a few supplies, hoops, wool, tapestry wool and feathers.

 

 

 

 

 

I used some lace for the centre, then I sprayed a little Shimmerz to it.  Tied everything in place and then adhered a Prima flower to finish them off :)

 

 

 

How about a little card inspiration??  I would love to share some cards I created a little while ago.

 

 



 

 

 

A couple of weekends ago I spent a Sunday afternoon with my Maggie Holmes papers and scraps!!  I whipped up these 3 cards and 2 tags.  I really should do this more often, it's an awesome way to use up scraps plus it's always great to have a selection of cards to pick from (especially with so many parties recently)!

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think this one is my fave.......love, love the colours!

Hi!!  Hope you are having a good week so far!!

 

 

Last weekend we went away, visited friends and family and had a lovely time shopping to finish off the weekend.  Now I rarely ever spend money on myself.  I have no problem spending money on the kids and hubby too but when it comes to myself, I just think no not today!!!  Although I am happy to spend it on scrappy things........maybe that's why I feel quilty for buying myself clothes etc.  Anyways,  just look at all these pretties I managed to find :)  Absolutely loving the styles at the moment of pretty, lacy and feminine!  I have been looking for a pair of the denim shorts with the lace on the edges for a while but they are always so short, like up your bottom!!!  I certainly don't wear them like that (don't think I would even if I could....lol) but these were an appropriate length, just too cute!!!!  This should keep me going for a while before my next big shopping spree :)

 

 

 

Check out these cute superheros :)  Haha, cracks me up, Mason looks so huge in this pic!!  These boys certainly keep me on my toes.  In fact one is beside me now with a Bumblebee Transformer mask on....lol!!  They love superheros.

 

 



Now to share another creation with you all.  Just some fun with a mix of things again, I am enjoying creating these "just because" layouts!!!  Just enjoying the creative process and having fun :):)

Some fun creations :)

Hello!  I have a couple of layouts to share with you today :)  First one is just something fun I did of my middle man.  He is so tiny and agile, he's always turning himself inside out, he cracks me up!  I have used lots of Prima and Shimmerz with a touch of Glitz, Crate and Hambly.

I even managed to add the Webster's Perfect Accent.  I have had this anchor waiting to be used for ages.  Love it!!!!!

 



Oh loving the mix of mint, peach, coral and creams.......have you seen my Pinterest board of these colours?? 

 



Just a little Chippie from Crate the Pier and lots of Hambly tucked in there too :)

 

 



 

 

I handmade these cute kites.  Layered papers and distressed and added the wire off the Prima rose stems.

 



 

My second layout today is the project I created for Jennifer Grace's Projects that WOW tutorials.  My prompt was all about the layering!!!

 

 

I used lots of different bits and pieces here once again.  Prima, My Minds Eye (love love this background paper),  Shimmerz, Hambly, Basic Grey.

Aussie Scrap Source catch up

Hi lovely friends and followers.  I am sharing some Aussie Scrap Source layouts that have been shared on the blog over the past month or so.  I have used a different brand on each with loads of Shimmerz and other bits and pieces!

MY MINDS EYE

 

I have used the collection Collectable in the Unforgettable colour scheme.  Cut out lots of those cute hexagons and added some buttons and layered stickers.

Who doesn't love a little bit of Amy Tangerine??  Her Yes Please collection is way to adorable!  Loved this super fun line :)

I made this kite by layering various patterned papers slightly different sizes with foam tape.  I also added a stem off a Prima flower for the string of the kite.

 





CRATE PAPER

 

Oh Crate Paper, how I love thee!!!!  I used The Pier collection here for my beachy layout.  I used a smidgen of the red out of the collection to tie in with the pics.  I love the pinwheels and fun chippy pieces!!

Oh I love bows and I don't even care if I use them on my boys pages.....I consider them bow ties.....lol!!!

 



SEI

 

Lastly today, I have a SEI project featuring lots of yummy Prima!!  I must admit I am not familiar at all with the SEI brand but oh my these papers were stunning.  I used the Collections Mia Bella and Dianne. The floral cut out paper is just beautiful.  I absolutely loved fussing cutting that one out!!
