Hello Pastel, Midway and Quick cards................

Hi lovely blog followers, it's been a bit quiet on here lately, we have been on school holidays (not to mention torrential rain for 4 days straight, water damage, no internet access and now a big brown pool to clean) and the 2 big boys have just gone back to school today!!!  Cooper starting grade 1 and Kobi's first day at Kindy!  They both had brilliant first days and no tears from each of them as I left them this morning, although I saw Kobi's kindy teacher this afternoon and she said he had a few little tears during the day but in saying that he is so keen to get back there tomorrow :)  So proud of my boys!!!!  Anyways, I am hoping I can now stay up to date with this little blog, I have a load of stuff to share and a loads more coming up in the future to share :)

Today I would love to share a new Prima creation I created for CHA.  Featuring the Hello Pastel line and Donna Downey's new mask.  I absolutely love this line, I think it was my favourite out of all the releases, even though I quite liked them all!!  The colours are awesome and I am just into "Pastel" atm!!

"Sweet Dreams Little One"

I am also in love with this Chevron mask from Donna Downey!!  It is a total must have :):)

Lots of gorgeous flowers, these big ones (called Ascot Park) worked perfectly with this range!!

Check out the cute owl wooden embellishment!!

There you have it, Hello Pastel, just love it!!!!

Here is a October Afternoon, Midway creation I created for the Aussie Scrap Source blog!  This range is so so much fun, I loved every second of making this!!!  The colours screamed "me" aswell :)

"4 Today"

What's a birthday page without a banner right?

Plus a super duper cute button and flag :)

Lastly I want to share some Shimmerz cards I whipped up over the holidays for some parties Cooper had to attend!  These were really quick and simple to make.  A scraping of Gesso, a spritz of Shimmerz, twine, banner and stars added and a flick of more Shimmerz.

Simple, cute, birthday cards :)

Shimmerz are still running with their promotion of a FREE bottle of Shimmerz when you mention my name upon checkout!!!  Order some Shimmerz today, I am sure you will love it as much as I do!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, goodnight all, these early mornings to make packed lunches are going to take a bit of getting used too again......lol!!!!!

A new year means Brand New CHA goodies :)

So excited for CHA Winter 13!!!!  So many gorgeous collections from Prima once again, they have truly outdone themselves with the papers this release!!!!!  Here are just a couple to share with you and my examples using the collections.

First up is one of Leeza Gibbons' collections.  This one is called Wishful Thinking.  Here is a sneak at the collection:

I am not much of a purple person and certainly don't scrap with it!  This line kind of scared me until I found all the gorgeous turquoise, lime and coral in the collection.  I focused on those exact colours that I love the most and popped in just a smidgen of the purple hues.  The result was gorgeous and refreshing to me :)

"Dreams Come True"

Layers upon layers of masking, misting and altering of flowers.

The next line I would love to share is the Divine Collection by Jodie Lee.

It's beautiful, feminine and pretty and my perfect little model just had to be my little niece, Gracie!!  This line has the cutest little motifs........just look at that little birdie :)

"Little Sweetie"

Just some details of the divine details in this collection and it's co-ordinating flowers.

Loving the super cute new Wooden embellishments.............

My next challenge is to create a layout of my boys with this collection.......is it do-able????  Of course, I don't think it matters how girly a collection is, we can make it work for boys too, right??? :):)  ..........lol.......I might just eat my words, I will let you know when I do :) I see lots of greys and mints in here............yes, it will work!!!  Especially with Prima, anything is possible!

Until next time,
xoxo

My last creations for 2012 plus my faves :)

Hi lovely blog readers, just sharing my last creations with you for 2012.
This first one was a scraplift of the awesome Janna Werner.........a fellow dt member of Prima.  I tried to keep it as simple as Janna gorgeous style but added in a few extras to make it more 'me'.  Loads of layering, masking, stamping and inking.  I actually really loved the way this turned out even if it is a little different from my usual.

"Such a Cool Boy"

I used a the Craftsman and Firefly collections.  Who would think these 2 collections would go perfect with each other!!!!!  Lots of Trinkets instead of flowers.......yes it was hard, I know :)  I am pretty sure I tried to put a flower on here but it just didn't fit!

I think this is the first time I used the gear mask..........super cool!!!!!

A little card I whipped up, literally took me 15 mins :)

My last new layout to share is also my very last layout being apart of the Pink Paislee design team.  My term has ended there and I thank them for allowing me to create with there beautfiul collections, I was truly honoured :)

This one using the City Sidewalks collection.

"Magical"

I would love to share with you my favourite creations for 2012.  I truly love making all I do, but these few just stick close to my heart and I never tire of looking at them.  I hope you have enjoyed all you have seen from me in 2012 and here's hoping I can inspire you even more in 2013 :)

Testing, testing...............

Oh dear, thankyou all so much for helping me and even though it's a pain it's nice to know I wasn't the only one having issues!!!  So I used the HTML button to upload my pics.  They seemed to have worked.  As far as changing it to Google Chrome etc, I have no clue how to do that, so I might just have to do it this way for the time being!!!

So HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all :):)  It has been a couple of weeks since I posted here and now we are in 2013!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Goodness gracious, time flies!  We still have a few weeks left on school holidays and next week I fly to Perth to see my bestie's new bub...........which brings me to my next creation.

I created this owl canvas for Sianne using SHimmerz !!  It is super cute and full of texture and pretty pastel/brights (somewhere in between), I think Jod is going to love it in her bubba's room :)

Here are the yummy Shimmerz products I used:

Spritz in Mango Madness and Ruby
Vibez in Sunset Strip
Coloringz in Heidi Ho Blue and Pink Stiletto
Shimmerz in Apricot (I think this is my new favourite)
Enamelz in Sparkliscious

Some Closeups, loads of splatters and blending colours in in the background.

Don't forget to mention my name upon checkout in the Shimmerz store to get your free bottle of Shimmerz included in your order :):)

I have a few more things to share but just wanted to test this one first.  I am still trying to get back into the swing of things from the whole excitement of Christmas and having a beautiful, relaxing time at Great Keppel.  I still have a million (well maybe not that many) photos to go through from December..........*sigh* not enough hours in the day!!!!!!!!

Thankyou for dropping by, call back soon xoxo

Blogger Issues :(

Hi all!!!  I am back and ready to catch up but I am having trouble with uploading photos here to my blog.  Once I go into the Insert Image and upload section, no "Browse" button exists........now we all know how much I am hopeless on a computer, if anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it! Until I get this sorted out, unfortunately I can't share with you.
 xoxoxo

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas............

It's Christmas Eve here downuder and I thought I would share with you a few Christmas things :)  I bought a Christmas wreath from Target last year and this year I added all the baubles and ribbons to it!  Gotta love Pinterest for inspiration!!!

Aussie Scrap Source:
I was asked to create some Christmas Decor and here is what I came up with.
I created this shabby Christmas wall decor using the Pink Paislee City Sidewalks collection.

I used 6 styrofoam balls and layered, folded, tore pieces of paper and added lace, ribbons and twine.

Next up I wanted to share my December Daily.  This is the first time I have done a DD, I really tried to keep it simple!  This is probably as simple as it gets for me!!!!  I still haven't added any photos to it but I have made sure photos have been taken daily.....this will be my new year job now that all other assignments etc are out the way :)

I used an American Crafts 8 x 8 binder and took out the inserts and created my own pages.  Here is my front cover.

I won't bore you with every detail but here are some of the pages and I am sure you will get the idea!!!

(Had to add a little pink in here for my birthday on the 21st)

And just leave you with a few photos of the boys helping put the tree up and our xmas photo shoot!  I am incredibly blessed to have these little people in my life, I feel the luckiest Mumma in the world :)

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, I appreciate everyone of you dear followers and friends!!!
I must get off here, I must play Santa now!

Love to you all, see you in the new year.......we are off for a relaxing time on Keppel Island after Christmas (I can tell you I need it)!!!!!!

Hugs xo
