Happy Friday xo

Hello!  Hope you have had a lovely week :)  I am sharing my creation today that was published in the Winter Issue of Paperhaus. You can find the link HERE for the inspirational issue.   I went with the minty, icy tones for this layout.  Very shabby!!

"Daddy Loves You"

I used the Prima pathway mask for my background along with some Shimmerz.

Lots of Prima flowers, a bulb and a some bark hearts.  I added some Shimmerz to the bulb also.

A resin heart also covered with Shimmerz.  The background was also stamped with a music note stamp.

The chipboard swirl layered here is by 2 Crafty.   You will also find some Prima Junkyard Findings.

Some Enamel dots........

My second layout today is a just because one I did over the holidays.  Yummo, just loving this colour combo!  So fresh and fun!!!!

A big mix of things here, Crate, Sassafrass, AC, Websters, Prima flowers.......lots of Stamping, loads of sequins!

"Love This Happy Life"

I filled up the little jar with sequins and wood hearts....too cute!

A couple of layered bows.........

Another feather arrow I made.

2 Crafty shares :)

Hi, welcome back :)  I have my first 2 creations for 2 Crafty to share with you tonight.  I have had so much fun working with these chipboard pieces.  I haven't always used a lot of chipboard in my work but I think these pieces are giving my layouts that something extra!!!

My first layout today is featuring my boys and I!  With having all boys
I tend to go a bit crazy with flowers and pink whenever I am involved in the picture.

"Family"

I applied some Gesso to the  "Family"  title and then I added a small amount
of colour to the bottom section of the word.  Once dried I applied some
Modelling paste to add some dimension.

Chipboard pieces used include:
Heart Silhouettes
Family word title
5" Floral Frame
Birdcage #1

I have popped the birdcage up on 2 flowers so it adds to the dimension of the page.

I have used the 5'Floral Frame to wrap around my photo.  I also applied modelling paste to it.

My second layout today I have opted to create something shabby and blue!

"Smile"

Chipboard pieces used include:
Soft Feather Set
Barbed Wire
Old Fence
Heart Silhouettes

I covered the Barbed Wire and Old Fence with some crackle paint.
I then added some Shimmerz to add a little bit of colour. I attached the
Fence with foam tape, and the Barb Wire
was added in with my layers.

I painted a couple of Feathers from the Soft Feather Set  and then dipped
them in some Gold Chunky Glitter.  I then applied some Texture paste to
the edges and a little more Shimmerz to the centre.

I hope you enjoyed my 2 Crafty share today........pop over to the BLOG for more wonderful inspiration.

Shimmerz sunshine :)

Hello, hope you are having a lovely Wednesday :)  Just popping in with a Shimmerz creation that went up on the blog last weekend.  Had so much fun making this.......it just screams happy, sunshine and fun doesn't it!!

Here are the Shimmerz products I used:

Spritz in Mango Madness
Vibez in Egg Noggin
Coloringz in Mandarin Mai Tai
Dimensionz in Streets of Gold and Orange U Pretty
Shimmerz in Golden Wheat and Marigold

"Love You"

I also used some gorgeous 2 Crafty chipboard pieces, including this loopy Love You title!!    I love it and I have just layered it up on top of all of the the other embellishments.

I also used the Dimensionz on the title word "Love You".  I love how this product gives so much texture and puffiness to your Chipboard products.

I also used some Indian Feathers and made a little arrow.

I covered the Chevron bits with lots of Shimmerz along with my background.  A little masking too.

I used the lid from a Spritz bottle and dipped it into the Golden Wheat Shimmerz, I then placed this over the layout randomly to add some circles.

The Shimmerz products I used compliment the embellishments and papers perfectly :)

I have more 2Craty projects to share for this month but I must get my big boy to the dentist soon.  My poor baby has cut his first lot of permanent teeth before loosing any of his baby teeth, so we are off for a scan today.  So at least the tooth fairy may be coming soon.....might have to leave him an extra dollar if they have to be pulled!!!  I would love to hear any stories you have had with your kids teeth, being my first to go down this road, I have no idea what we are in for......not too mention I avoid the dentist (for myself) at all costs :(

Thanks for dropping by, bye for now xo

Once Upon A Sketch Jan Challenge

HELLO!!!!!!!!!  HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!  A big hi from me, it's seems like a lifetime since I popped by.  We are in full swing with school holidays, so I have been spending most of my time with the kidlets!  It's been fun and full on :)

I am here to share with you my very first creation for Once Upon A Sketch. Here is the beautiful sketch by Nadia.  I hope you can play along this month, always so many fantastic prizes to be won :)

Here is my creation.  I love Nadia's sketches, you can add so much to it and still see the sketch there :)  I love the challenge of journaling too, something I want to do more of!!

"Always Remember"

Some closeups.  I have used mostly Prima here.  Lots of Shimmerz and glitter.

I love the Prima pebbles, they are so cool to work with :)

I used a Prima brick mask and some stamping too.

A little bit of Sinamay to shabby it up!

A feather dipped in gold glitter!!  I also painted the tips of all the flowers with a touch of Gesso.  Still my number one thing to do to tone down those flowers.

Okay, that's me for today, have a wonderful rest of the week, hopefully be back here soon with loads more to share :)
Hugs xoxo
