My first dress form:)

Dress forms are really making a statement in the scrapping world at the moment.  They seem to be everywhere and there are so many different types you can get (and not just the chipboard kind).  The wonderful Steph is having a challenge over at Inspire Me (Webster's Pages) to create a dress form.  So this is my first attemp at one.  I used a Dusty Attic chipboard form:)  I also used the new Hollywood Vouge range from Webster's.  Isn't it so pretty?

"Girly"

It was really lovely just to do a really girly page of me and it's not very often I get dressed up and actually put makeup on (I think I was on my way to a Hen's party in this pic).  I should really try to do it more often but I just love being in my dags with my boys....hehe!!!!!

I have used some glimmermist here....2 of my fave colours Jazz Blue and Fully Purple.  I have been through so many bottles of the Jazz Blue...I love it!  So just a close up of the pretty Prima flowers and some feathers I picked up at Lincraft.

Just another shot of the texture.

Lastly, another of the dressform:)

Okay, this has taken me forever to post....in between dinner and trying to get the boys to clean up their mess of all their toys and books!!!
Thanks so much for all of your beautiful comments in my last post and thanks for visiting me:)

DT member of The Color Room:)

Oh my golly gosh, I was so thrilled and overwhelmed when I got invited to be on the Design Team of this amazing site:)  I have loved this site since they created it 6 months ago!  There are soooo many brilliant and amazing scrappers (many of them my very favourites) on this team that I am a little gobsmacked they asked lil ol'me to be apart of it.

So come on over and check out the new look banner and all the New DT members:)  The Color Room

This weeks palette, very pretty and perfect for all those girly pics:)

I nearly went the easy way out and was going to do a Gracie layout and then I thought, no, I am going to scrap my beautiful little boy:)  I did try to go with more blue and green but boys can have pink on there pages too:):)

"He's My Lil Sweetie"

So all the usual staples on this one.... and just a closeup of the layering.:)

What is up with the weather???

I have packed up all of our winter stuff, not that we have much winter here anyway, but the last few nights have been cold......I even turned on Kobi's heater 2 nights ago!  Has it been cold everywhere else?  I know there has been alot of rain down south and we have had a lot more than normal for Spring but I want the heat to come back.....I wanna get in the pool with my boys.  Cooper got in on the weekend with Tim and just cried.....geez, we are in Oct, not to mention it is flying by!!  Anyway, I'll be whinging in a few months time it's soooo hot.......actually no I won't, I heart summer.  So the boys cubby house got started on the weekend, Dad is making them one.....I can't quite picture what he is going to do but knowing my Dad it is going to be pretty spectacular.  I will have to take some pics of the process:)  I am taking the boys to Dorethy on Friday with a friend....I am sure they will enjoy it!

So onto some scraps, I am guessing that is why you are here!  This is The Color Room palette #28.  As soon as I saw this one, I new I had to give it a go.....I collected everything I had in these colours and off I went.  I had one sheet of purple paper (that's how often I scrap with purple).  I have had this OA doggie card for while now, I haven't used any of them out of the set....I love the cards but I think my style isn't vintagey enough to use them.  Anyway I made use of one, I think it's a bit cute:)  My boy loves time at the park (what child doesn't) and I just happened to snap his beautiful smile the other week.  More Such Sweet Tierney and The Chip Chop Shop.  I made the little hot air balloon with material and there is also a cloud in there from Clouds and More ......cute!

"Happy"

Just some closeups:

Just another layout I did last week.  Of my Kobi Jack.  He says "dot, dot" when he paints....totally adorable:)

"Dot, Dot"

Some MLBOW buttons.

I also found some old paint brushes I had laying around and added them on too:)

I recieved a parcel today of lots of new papers....Websters, Sass and OA, hopefully I will get to play with it soon!!

Have a fantastic afternoon, my next post I will have some exciting news to share:):)

Scrap the Boys is up!

The new challenge is up over here ......this is a great challenge and definately an easy one for me, I don't think I do any layouts without material on them:):)  It's so fun and I love the texture it brings to the layout.

"Cute Denims"

I have used more Such Sweet Tierney buttons (I can't get enough of these),  some Sass scraps and a Prima summer carnation.  Oh yeah, there is also a little Prima stud puppy in there too, can you spot it?

Just a quick one today, the boys are out and I am doing the housework....the music is turned up and I am on a roll so I better get moving:)  Enjoy your weekend.

My Little Shoebox cuteness

Yummo, my favourite boy colours together.  Blue and green!  I used up some old scraps in this one, like the Hambly circle screenprint, the stars (which I can't remember what they where, maybe KI Memories) and a tiny bit of the Prima Rebellious line.  It's always nice to use up older stash, isn't it??  Also more stars and misting, I am a little addicted to masking shapes at the moment....whether is be stars, love hearts or butterflies.....what else can I try?

"Follow Your Dreams"

Aren't the snails the cutest?  I have used the cutouts from MLSB and added my own googly eyes:)  There is also a Sass feltie snail and a My Little Bit Of Whimsy mushroom.

I heart Leeann's new rainbow clouds, they are so bright and colourful...perfect for me:):)  You can find them at The Chip Chop Shop.

So I am loving the new big piccie's I can post on here now, what do you think?

I will leave you with a sneakie of the next challenge, due in a couple of days, at Scrap The Boys.  It's a fun one:)  Make sure you check over there for all the other awesome examples on the 15th!

Have a fun afternoon, I am waiting for Mum to come over so we can go for a walk:)

Strawberry Giggles

I used the Chippies from Cosmos Cricket "Togetherness"  They are super cute and I love the colours for something different.  Of course I had to add in my splashes of aqua and blue:):)  The background paper is Rouge De Garance.  There is also a couple of Whimsy Strawberries, Sass felties and The Chip Chop shop cloud.

"Strawberry Giggles"

My big boy got his Kindy spot for next year.......I am so excited for him yet so sad at the same time that he is growing so quickly.  I think the first couple of weeks might be a little hard on both of us, he is not a day care child so therefore has never been away from me except for with Mum and Dad.  He might surprise me but knowing Coop I think there is going to be tears....hopefully I can hold mine in!!  Once he gets used to it though, I am sure he will just love it:)
We were having a little play the other day with the camera.  I love this piccie of Coop giving me a kiss, such a sweet little boy (most of the time...lol).

I hope you weekend is going well.
Thanks for popping by:)

Our Shining Stars....

**Hi there**

I wanted to share with you another canvas I made....this time of my boys:) I have a little spot next to our bookshelf in the living room where I am going to hang it. Once again it is just full of layers upon layers of paint, glimmermist, inks, material, bandage wrap, paper and other embellishments. I have never really counted the layers on my works but I dare say in everything I do there is at least 9 or more! I started off using a star shape for a mask and just went crazy with glimmermist......the fun part about this is it doesn't matter if you stuff up you just add another layer of something else!!

I have used Such Sweet Tierney Chipboard buttons on here, some Prima felt stars and some clear Heidi Swapp stars which I added alcohol ink too:)

The cute little owl is a chipboard piece from My Mind's Eye.

And a galaxy star vine from Prima.

So this is my staples lately.....all my paints, mists and inks....yummo! I love all this colour.

Beautiful days here at the moment....I think its time to get into the pool:):)
Have a fabbo day xo

Lookie what I got.....

I got Featured again at The Color Room.....Yay!!!! So thrilled to be featured again:)

I also got my camera back yesterday, it looks like new because I got a clean done on while it was away getting looked at.

Check out these new buttons from Such Sweet Tierney.....aren't they soooo cool for those Chrissy projects:):) Check them out here .

I have decided I am going to make more cards from now on and keep a little stash:) I sometimes find I will sit at my desk for ages and can't get motivated to create a layout so I thought this would be a great way to utilise that time. I also have soooo many scraps that need to be used up too! So here is a birthday card......

Okay, I am off to finish a layout I started this afternoon....have a great rest of the weekend:)
